Mojo Monday Week 93

Hello everyone, I've been following the Mojo Monday blog and had been wanting to participate on their sketch challenge. I finally took the leap and I have to say that I really like it! I will try to do this on a weekly basis and post it on my blog.
Here's my take on the challenge. I made a birthday card and it turned out pretty good. I'm quite pleased with it.

Materials used:
Paper: CTMH
Stamp: CTMH (Cupcake Sprinkles and Spunky Greetings)
Ink: CTMH (Breeze and Creme Brulee)
Other: Scallop shapes cut from Cricut and Nesties, ribbon and pearls from Michaels

Baby Blanket

Hi everyone, i'm crocheting a baby blanket I'm planning to give to my Aunt who is having her first baby. She's also the one I made those baby shower invites. I'm almost a third of the way, the finished size would be 30x30 inches. I'm using a multicolor yarn from Bernat Softee Baby with a shell pattern using size G hook. My mother in law taught me the pattern, she's the best.
I love this yarn as it is so soft. I just hope I finish it on time for her baby shower. :)

Here is the birthday card I made for my co-worker's (Jasmine) son. He is turning one on July 3rd. I cut the Giraffe from New Arrival cartridge and ran the body thru my cuttlebug using swiss dots. I love how this turned out especially the wiggly eyes. :)

Crocheted Flowers

Here are some Crocheted Flowers I made recently. I thought they are so cute and add extra touch to handmade cards. They are made of embroidery floss.

First off, I wanna show you a birthday present I made for my dear friend Heather! I made her a bunch of handmade cards that she can give away and a mini notepad. I made the box out of a patterned cardstock from DCWV, size 10 1/2" x 12". I cased it from Wonderfully Whimsy http://wonderfullywhimsy.blogspot.com/2009/01/pretty-box-gift-card-set.html. I hope to share my love of stamping, card making and crocheting. I also hope to share some of my organization ideas to help other crafters out there, and post some pictures so others could be inspired as well.

More to come...... thanks for checking my blog!
