NSD MPS Challenge #12

Here's the last challenge I participated in. The challenge is to make a scrapbook page, a card or project using an animal or critter. So I finally opened my newest cartridge, Create a Critter and like the rest of you, I just LOVE, LOVE this cartridge. It's so easy to use and they are all adorable. So I made this turtle out of this cartridge and I used the DCWV premade card and added a ribbon from my stash. I used foam tape on the turtle to give it dimension. Hope you like it!

NSD MPS Challenge #10 May Day

Hello again, I know I'm skipping a few challenges but hopefully I will have time tomorrow to do the other ones. This challenge is to make a project using flowers or make something springy. Here's a card I made, sorry no recipe as I can't remember at this moment. It's 1 am and I need to go to bed. Hope you like it!

NSD MPS Challenge #9 Take Shape

The challenge is to make a shaped card, scrapbook page or project. Here's my take on the challenge. I made the flower card using the Wild Card cartridge. I've never done one before and I was having trouble choosing which card. So I decided to make a flower card using CTMH CS and patterned paper from a kit (can't remember which one) and I just added some prima flowers. Hope you like it!

NSD MPS Challenge #8

This challenge is to use monochromatic color and add a flower. I had fun making this card and probably my favorite one so far. I didn't think using just one color would look this good. I used PTI Summer Sunrise CS, In Bloom patterned paper, and polka dot ribbon. Then I added the Prima flowers and some white brads. I also used Martha Steward Punch and cuttlebug Swiss Dot EF. Hope you like it!

NSD MPS Challenge #3

The challenge is to "think outside the box" , or something you wouldn't normally do on your card, layout or project. Here's a layout for my baby's first album. You may see more layouts of her album as I'm starting this project and hopefully be caught up with all her pictures before I go back to work.
What I did here is I stamped the white ribbon with new baby and a heart. This is the first time I've tried it and it's actually pretty cool. You can customize your own ribbon!

The picture below are the materials I used to make my customized ribbon. All items are from CTMH: Miracle Stamp Set, Pink Carnation Stamp Pad, White Daisy Grossgrain Ribbon.

NSD My Pink Stamper Challenge #2

Here's a card I made for challenge #2. The challenge is to make something using your scraps, coz we have plenty of those! Lol! This card is pretty simple, I used the CAS FTL #87 as I'm getting behind with the challenges.

Card Recipe: PTI Kraft CS, CTMH Ocean Patterned Paper, CTMH stamp sets It's a Zoo and Dainty Thoughts.

National Scrapbooking Day My Pink Stamper Challenge #1

Hello everyone!!! I'm back after over a month of being gone in the blog world. I just had a baby girl and she is now 6 weeks old! I wanted to get back into crafting now that we are settling into a routine. I'm trying to squeeze in a few moments of free time here and there. But hubby was so sweet enough to give me some crafting time today so I can celebrate National Scrapbooking Day!
I'm participating with the challenges that My Pink Stamper has in store for today. There are so much excitement going on and hopefully I can participate with most of the challenges if not all.

The first challenge is to make something for your mom or someone dear to you. Here's a card I made for my mom. Hope you like it!
Card Recipe: PTI Kraft CS, CTMH Sweet Pea DP, Storybook cartridge and prima flowers.

Anorher thank you card

Hello again, here's another thank you card. It's for Heather who was one of the hostesses on my first baby shower. They did a fabulous job on my shower so I hope she liked her card. This card is pretty simple. The patterned paper and the sparkled strawberry stickers are from Doodlebug Designs. I used scalloped punch and circle punch and adhere the stickers to it. The ribbon is from Michaels and the sentiment is from PTI Mega Mixed messages stamp set.

Thank You Cards

It's me again, this is the card I made for my sister-in-law Nancy who hosted my second shower. I used swiss dot embossing folder and ran it in my cuttlebug for the white background. For the butterflies, I used two different Martha Stewart punches, one small and one big one (can't remember the names). The ribbon is from my stash, probably from Michael's and the sentiment is from PTI Megamixed messages set.

The next one below is an easy card, I made a bunch of these as thank you notes for my guests who came at the shower. The imaged stamp is from CTMH Baby Steps stamp set and I colored it with CTMH markers. The ribbon is from Michael's and the border strip is a pink cardstock ran into my cuttlebug using buttons embossing folder. The sentiment is from CTMH but forgot the name of the set. Hope you like them!

Baby Shower Favors

Hello everyone,
I know it's been a month since I last posted. I was busy with baby stuff and making favors and thank you cards for my baby showers. I have just over a week left before my due date and I can't wait for the baby to come!
Anyways, I like making these stuff so I always offer to help out the hostesses on favors or games. Below are some pictures of the favors I made recently. I made 2 kinds of favors, the first one was a round tin and inside the tins are M&M's easter colored candies. I used 2" scallop punch and 1 3/4 circle punch. Then the white circle is a sticker label that came with the tin, it's from Wilton's. The ribbon is from Michael's and the pink buttons are from PTI Blush vintage buttons.

The second one is a heart tin from Wilton's as well and came with oval sticker labels. The ribbon is from Michaels and the pink butterfly is from a mexican store I visited a while back. Inside the tin are Hershey's kisses.

Below is a group picture of both favors together. I got the tins from Michael's using 40% coupon. Hope you like them!

PTI Day 13 Challenge

Hello everyone, there's a lot of festivities going on at Nichole's blog for Papertrey Ink's 3rd year anniversary. And i wanted to participate in their challenge of creating flower embellies with an accompanying card using this embellies.

I crocheted these flowers a while back and I used it on the above card. This card is very simple. I cut a PTI white cardstock and stamp the leaves using PTI Turning a New Leaf and used some pearls and the crochet flower. Below are the flower embellies I crocheted using embroidery floss in different colors. Hope you like it!
